16 Apr 5 Free Ways to Make your First $100 Online This Week
The internet is seen as a lot of things by different people. For most of us, it’s a way to connect with others on social media, find any fact out in a matter of seconds, and order things online.
But what most people don’t realize is that you can turn the internet into a money making machine.
Don’t get me wrong, consistently making thousands of dollars per month online has taken me a couple years, but making $100 is doable for everyone.
The possibilities are endless.
And the 5 ways I talk about in this post to make money can also be scaled to where you’re making tens of thousands a month!
The word Craigslist leaves a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths. Maybe it’s from the formally erotic (now closed) Personal Sections, or from the few people that met up with psychos and got killed.
But I’ve only had positive experiences with Craigslist, both for buying and selling things.
There are a lot of benefits to using this site- it’s free to post and you don’t even need make an account. Plus you’re dealing in all cash, which makes it a nice under the table business.
In my experience, video games, nice furniture, building materials, shelving, bikes, and car parts sell quickly for good money on Craigslist.
Like with any free site, there are going to be scammers. The easiest ways to avoid them is to only deal in cash, use the encrypted email, and meet up with people in a public place for safety.
This guy gets broken appliances for free on Craigslist by hauling them away for people, fixes them for cheap, and then flips them for hundreds of dollars on the same platform!
Besides selling physical things on this site, you can also market and sell your skills to make money.
This was how I made my first $1000 online- When I was in college I posted a free ad offering to tutor people in calculus and physics. Within a couple weeks I had a guy paying me $30 an hour for private physics tutoring.
After a few months, I had a fat wad of more than $1000.
I’ve been writing about self-publishing on Kindle recently. Honestly, it still blows my mind that people are willing to pay $3 for a 4000 word erotica that took me a couple of hours to write:
So far I only have experience with self-publishing erotica.
But, I’ve also heard there is a big market for self help and motivational books.
Another way to make money with your writing is to make a free account on Upwork and do some freelance work. I’ve made a couple hundreds dollars doing this:
Honestly, most of the writing that you’ll do on this site is simple lists like 10 best uses for coconut oil, or 5 ways to recycle old clothing, but you’ll make more money than at a minimum wage job, and you can even write these things on your subway or bus ride to work.
Writing everyday can be a grind, so getting paid right away for it is nice, even if it’s just $15 for an article about 10 uses for apple cider vinegar.
If you’ve read this site at all, than you know that eBay is my go-to recommendation for starting to make money online.
The wonderful thing about eBay is it’s open to anyone. If you take the next two hours, and list some of your old electronic, clothes, and even used eyeglasses, you could have $100 profit in your PayPal account by tomorrow morning.
Although a lot of people move away from selling on eBay because they think it’s too time consuming, I’ve developed simple systems, so it takes me less than 10 hours per week of maintenance to earn over $1000 profit each month:
4. Book Flipping
I’ve only talked about flipping books once on this site, but it’s actually a big part of my income.
The nice thing about selling books on Amazon is that by using the Amazon FBA program all you need to do is find the inventory, scan it in, and send it to them. Then Amazon holds your inventory in a warehouse for a small fee, ships it out when the items sells, and deals with the inevitable customer return.
I’ve only sent one book shipment out for the last 6 weeks, and I still made over $700 profit last month:
P.S: If you want to make money by flipping used books on Amazon, this is the course that I took to learn how.
The course costs than $100, and I made my money back the within the first week of flipping books.
I’ve taken a few courses about Amazon FBA online, and this one is by far the best and easiest to follow.
I’ve been uploading designs to Amazon Merch for the last 8 months, and have only just made my first sale:
But, don’t be dissuaded from my lack of success. Some people make thousands of dollars a month with it.
It’s free to make an account, free to upload designs to Amazon, and if you’re design sells than you get a commission. To top it off, Amazon takes care of all the shipping, customer returns, and payments. All you need to do is upload the design!
It takes a few weeks for your account to be verified to sell, so sign up tonight!
The internet has changed the money making game forever. Never have normal people like me and you been able to enter the playing field of business so easily.
So sell things around your house, do some freelance writing, or upload some designs to Amazon Merch. Before you know it, you’ll have made your first $100.
And from there, the internet is your oyster.
